أطلق فنانو الإسكندرية كلمة بمناسبة اليوم العالمى للمسرح الذى يوافق 27 مارس من كل عام، وجاءت الكلمة مترجمة للإنجليزية والفرنسية والإيطالية، وتتعلق بما يمر له العالم من أزمة فيروس كورونا وعجز الدول العظمى فى مواجهة هذا الوباء، ودور المسرح فى هذه المستجدات التى تطرأ على العالم .
وجاء فى نص الكلمة:
بعد غفلة طويلة، استفاقت البشرية على صفعة قوية أفقدتها كل ما كانت تظنه يقينآ. فوجئت البشرية بأن ما كانت تسمى دولآ عظمى، تقف عاجزة شأنها شأن أية دولة صغيرة لا تكاد تلمحها على خريطة العالم.
رأينا ملوكآ وزعماءً وأباطرة، أسري أسرتهم، شأنهم شأن ذلك الرجل البسيط الذي سحقته أقدام نظام عالمي بدأ في التلاشي.
في ظل هذه المحنة التي أجبرت عالمنا القاسي على خلع ردائه الزائف، تلك المحنة التي ستغير شكل العالم، نقف لنتأمل عالماً جديداً يتشكل، فأبناء البشرية جميعا توحدوا اليوم كما لم يحدث من قبل في تاريخنا الحديث، فما يزيد عن سبعة مليار إنسان، إما على سرير المرض، وإما ينتظره أو يخشاه...
من هنا يصبح على فناني العالم بشكل عام، وفناني المسرح بوجه خاص، أن يستشرفوا صورة هذا العالم الجديد، ويبشروا بعالم كنا نظنه بعيدآ، عالم يتساوى فيه الجميع، تتكاتف فيه الإنسانية، ليس لمواجهة الكوارث فحسب، ولكن لجعله عالمآ يليق بكفاح الإنسانية على مدار تاريخها الطويل...
لقد أجبرنا على فهم تلك الحقيقة البسيطة: إن الضربة التي يتلقاها ذاك القابع في آخر بقعة من الأرض، يتلقاها من ينعم بالعيش في قلبها..
فلندع الكبرياء الزائف، ولنبشر بعالمنا الجديد، ونطوي صفحة هذا العالم القاسي المسمى بالنظام العالمي، بعد أن انكشفت عورتة، ولم يعد بمقدور أحد أن يلقى عليه الرداء.

On the occasion of World Theater Day
After a long nap ... Humanity has waked up on a strong slap that has lost all what it thought it is certain, and humanity has been surprised that what was called great Nations, stands today powerless like any small country you can hardly glimpse on the map of the world.
We have seen kings, leaders, and Emperors are prisoners in their beds, like the simple man who was crushed by the feet of the global system That started to fade Under this ordeal that forced the world to take off the false cloak, That tribulation that will change the shape of the world.
We stand to embrace a new world that is taking shape. All human beings are united today, as never before in our modern history, more than seven billion people are on the bed of disease, either waiting for it, or fearing from it
Hence, world artists in general, and theater artists in particular, should look forward to the image of this new world and preach a world that we thought it was far away, a world where everyone is equal, and humanity is united, not only to face disasters, but to make a world worthies the struggle of humanity throughout its long history.
We were forced to understand this simple truth… The blow that the one in the last spot of the earth receives is received by those who enjoy living in its heart.
Let us leave false pride, let us preach the new world, and turn the page of this cruel world called the global system, after its Nakedness has been exposed, and no one is able to throw the vestment to cover it.

Discours des artistes du théâtre d'Alexendrie à l'occasion de la journée internationale de théâtre:
Après une longue sieste, l'humanité s'est réveillée sur une situation choquante qui a boulversée toute certitude et croyance dans ce monde.
L'humanité est choquée par l'incapacité et l'impuissance des grandes nations face à cette pandèmie. Les grands pays sont exactement comme tout autre pays inaperçu sur la carte. les rois, les leaders et les empereurs font fâce à la même situation des individus. Ces derniers souffraient bien longtmeps des systems internationaux. ces systèmes vont s'écrouler après cette crise. Une crise qui a obligé notre monde cruel à s'exposer devant l'humanité entière.
Grâce à cette crise, notre planète se transformera, en créant un nouveau système et un nouveau monde ou se réunissent tous les êtres humains pour la première fois durant notre histoire moderne. Plus de sept milliards d'individus soit sont atteints, craignent d'être contaminés.
Et de là, les artistes du monde entier et du théâtre en spécial doivent commencer à percevoir et à developper une idée sur le nouveau monde, un nouveau monde qui garantie l'égalité pour tous, ou s'unie l'humanité pas seulement pour affronter les catastrophes mais pour rendre un monde à la hauteur de l'histoire, de l'humanité. On doit comprendre maintenant que tous les individus du monde entier quelque soit leurs endroits ou leurs niveaux envisagent les mêmes événements. Laissons un peu l'orgueil et la fausse vanité, tournons la pages des systèmes internationaux que personne peut cacher ses péchés maintenant et souhaitons un nouveau monde qui garantie les vrais sens de l'humanité.
